Charity. (20%)
The Charity Round makes up of 20% of the Final Marks.
Written Test. (20%)
The Written Test will count for 20% of the Final Marks.
It shall be consist of no fewer than 10 Questions to be answered on the day of the competition. assessing the contestants knowledge of LGBTIQ+ history, current affairs and world issues.
The test shall last no more than 30 minutes.
No mobile devices shall be present throughout the written test.
No conferring between the contestants during the written test.
If a contestant finishes within the allotted time-scale they may submit their answers however must remain in the test area until the allotted time period is completed.
Audience Vote. (20%)
The Audience Vote is makes up of 20% of the Final Marks.
Upon arrival at the Final, each audience member will receive a voting slip to vote for ONLY ONE delegate.
An audience member may request another voting slip at a price to be decided by the Producer. Upon receiving the additional voting slip, there may be ONLY ONE vote per delegate. The price of the extra voting slip will be divided equally between the two charities of the ‘charity round’.
A person may buy as many extra voting slips as they please. However, there will be ONLY ONE vote per voting slip. If there are two votes on one slip, this vote will become void.
National Dress/Regional Costume. (10%)
The National Dress/Regional Costume Round makes up of 10% of the Final Marks.
The contestant is required to display a costume or dress native to represent their local area.
A panel of adjudicators will assess this round based upon outfit, posture, poise, deportment, imagination, character, style and stage presence.
Beachwear. (10%)
The Beachwear Costume Round makes up of 10% of the Final Marks.
The contestant is required to display a costume or dress to be worn at the beach.
A panel of adjudicators will assess this round based upon outfit, posture, poise, deportment, imagination, character, style and stage presence.
Formal Wear. (10%)
The Formal Wear Round is made up of 10% of the Final Marks.
The contestant is required to display formal wear which could be worn at an evening reception, professional environment or in UK Parliament.
A panel of adjudicators will assess this round based upon outfit, posture, poise, deportment, imagination, character, style and stage presence.
Congeniality. (10%)
The Congeniality Round is made up of 10% of the Final Marks.
The contestant is required vote for their fellow contestant for who they would like to win the overall competition. This will be voted on prior to the Final and made in private. The contestant will be given a voting slip of ONLY ONE slip per person. More than two votes on one slip will make the voting slip void.
The producer may wish to incorporate this round into the finale. In this case, each contestant will make public who they voted for.
Scrutineering of The Marks.
The national costume, beach wear and formal wear will consist of the contestant being marked out of 100 by the judges. The contestant with the highest marks shall be ranked as 1. The contestant with the second highest marks shall be ranked at 2. The contestant with the third highest marks ranked as 3 and so on.

Charity Round will be marked on the contestant who raises the most for the elected charity. The contestant who raises the most amount for the charity will hold the highest marks shall be ranked as 1. The contestant who raises the second-highest amount for the charity will hold the second-highest marks and shall be ranked as 2. The contestant with the third highest marks ranked as 3 and so on.

Audience Round will be marked on the contestant who receives the highest audience votes. The contestant who receives the highest audience votes will hold the highest marks and shall be ranked as 1. The contestant who receives the second-highest audience votes will hold the second-highest marks and shall be ranked as 2. The contestant with the third highest marks ranked as 3 and so on.

Written Test will be marked on the contestant who scores the most correct answers on the written test. The contestant scores the most correct answers will hold the highest marks and shall be ranked as 1. The contestant who scores the second most correct answers will hold the second-highest marks and shall be ranked as 2. The contestant with the third highest marks ranked as 3 and so on.

Congeniality will be marked on the contestant who receives the highest fellow-contestant votes. The contestant who receives the highest fellow-contestant votes will hold the highest marks and shall be ranked as 1. The contestant who receives the second-highest fellow-contestant votes will hold the second-highest marks and shall be ranked as 2. The contestant with the third highest marks ranked as 3 and so on.

Depending on the round, the final rank will be a single mark if a 10% count is applied or the rank will be doubled if a 20% count is to be applied. (see examples)
Once all the scores are tallied up at the end of each round, the contestant with the LOWEST SCORE will be considered the winner (plus year).
The contestant with the second lowest score of Mr Gay England will be awarded the title of 1st Runner Up (plus year).
The contestant with the following lowest score of Mr Gay England will be awarded the title of 2nd Runner Up(plus year).
